Welcome to Odegard Dyslexia Therapy in Murfreesboro
Introducing Odegard Dyslexia Therapy, located in Murfreesboro, TN
Our private practice provides specialized therapy and support for school-aged children with dyslexia in Murfreesboro and Greater Middle Tennessee. We are dedicated to helping children with dyslexia overcome their reading and learning challenges. With a personalized approach, we aim to empower our students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically and in life.
Our approach
At Odegard Dyslexia Therapy, we use Take Flight, a research-based, comprehensive intervention program that assists students with reading difficulties with a targeted approach. This approach includes:
Evidence-Based Techniques: Our therapy sessions incorporate proven methods, such as Orton-Gillingham and multisensory instruction, to improve reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
Skill-Building Activities: We engage in fun and interactive exercises designed to strengthen phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and other essential literacy skills.
Parental Involvement and Support: We believe that parents and guardians play a crucial role in the therapy process. We provide guidance and resources to help them support their child's progress at home.
Ongoing Progress Monitoring: Throughout the therapy process, we closely track each student's development and make adjustments as needed to ensure steady progress.
